That's exactly what it's built for. Open quoteanddone.com in your phone browser and add it to your home screen — it installs like an app without going through the App Store. Works on iPhone and Android. The voice input is designed for standing in a driveway, not sitting at a desk.

Any Australian tradie who quotes before they start work. Electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, plasterers, tilers, roofers, concreters, landscapers, carpet layers, HVAC — as well as repairs and maintenance, renovations, installations, and landscaping and outdoor work. Set your rate and it'll use it. If you don't, it'll suggest one based on your trade.

Open the app, tap the mic, and describe the job — client name, address, what you're doing, what you're charging. When you stop talking, it builds the quote.

You get a draft with everything laid out: scope of works, line items, GST, totals, payment terms. Anything it had to estimate is highlighted so you know exactly what to look at. Speak any fixes — "rate's $140, payment terms are cash on completion" — and it updates. When it looks right, tap send. Goes straight to the client by SMS or email.

That's it. No forms. No back and forth.

A lot of tradies don't price materials upfront — they do a Bunnings run, grab what they need, and pass on the receipt. That's completely fine. Just say "materials at cost" when you describe the job and Quote & Done will add a line item that reads "Additional materials (at cost)" with a note to the client that materials will be invoiced at supplier price. Quote goes out clean. Client knows what to expect. No guessing, no risk of underquoting on parts.

Because you do, and you're better at it than any database. You know what Reece charges you. You've got a trade account. National price lists go stale, miss regional variation, and don't account for your supplier relationships. Quote & Done uses the prices you tell it — which means the quote is always accurate, not approximately accurate.

Everything lives on your phone — your business details, your quote history, all of it. When you send a quote, it goes straight from your phone to your customer via SMS or email. It can also send a copy to your own email. We don't see it, store it, or have access to it — we don't need it. Quote & Done is designed to be private by default.

Xero export is coming. You'll be able to download a Xero-ready CSV from any quote and import it straight into your Xero account — no re-entering data. Full Xero API integration (push directly from the app) is on the roadmap. If that's important to you, let us know — it moves things up the list.
